As the Founding President and Faculty Member of the American College of Mental Health Education (ACMHE), Jason's primary commitment is to develop and engage a community of lifelong learners in mental health professional education. This commitment is channeled through ACMHE, a division of Will to Health. Jason is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP) as designated by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Jason brings extensive executive-level experience to ACMHE after occupying key leadership roles, ranging from Vice President to Chief Human Resources Officer, in small, medium, and large-scale enterprises across industry sectors. At the same time, he has dedicated his time to practicing social work to help individuals achieve growth and change for more than ten years. Through ACMHE, he is leveraging this unique blend of executive know-how and compassion for the human experience to develop and deliver course content that informs and equips mental health care professionals with the tools to achieve more meaningful outcomes.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Morehouse College and is a graduate of Columbia University, where he received a Master of Arts in Sociology and Education with a concentration in Education Policy. He also earned his Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America and his Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
